Senator Bukola Saraki, Yakubu Dogara and other members of the National Assembly have come under fire from Nigerians following a report by the Economic Confidential that the lawmakers received a total of N6.78 billion as their official
salaries and allowances in twelve months.
Nigerians have called on President Buhari to slash the allowances of the National Assembly member.
The report had stated that the hugged allowances included annual salaries,accommodation, vehicle maintenance and fuel, personal assistants, house maintenance,
domestic staff, entertainment and utilities allowances.
